specialise
in
private
air
adventure
tours & charter from Sydney. Let an experienced "bush pilot" show
you an Australia that most travelers will never know.
Fly
in a safe well equipped twin-engine aircraft
often at "flightseeing" altitudes as the spectacular scenery unfolds
below. With Sky Expeditions, the journey is as
important as the destination. See the coastline from a breathtaking 500
ft and discover "secret" beaches, islands and settlements. Visit remote
cattle stations, aboriginal communities, salt lakes and bush camps.
Flying with
us will offer you a very private experience where we can cater to your
personal preferences. All tours are suggestions and can be amended and
paced to suit. You may like surfing, fishing, scuba diving &
snorkeling, golf, bush walking, bird-watching or star gazing or sky
diving to name but a few. If you have any questions, please call or
contact us now to discuss your requirements. We will do our best to
help.
Your safety is our first
priority. That means you will only fly with an experienced professional
pilot in well maintained twin engine aircraft. All operations are
conducted to meet and often exceed the strict requirements of the
Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority.

SOUTHERN
ISLANDS
KING
ISLAND,
FLINDERS
ISLAND
AND
TASMANIA
|
The islands of the south
are both spectacular as well as serene in their remote spledour.
Situated in Bass Strait, King and Flinders Islands are rarely visited
by tourists. Yet they offer the visitor a sense of discovery and a
chance to "get away from it all".
By aircraft this apparently remote magic is easily accessible
within hours. Why not take a break for an extended weekend?
King Island is best known for
its delicous cheese yet is has so much more to offer. Situated to the
north west of Tasmania in Bass Straight, it offers the peace and quiet
of island life. The only traffic delays will be caused by wallabies,
turkeys, possums and pheasants.
Flinders
Island is to the north east of Tasmania in Bass Strait. It
offers a holiday experience of a lifetime. Here you can get away from
it all in an inspiring world of sparkling beaches, rugged ranges,
abundant wildlife and flora, and clear sapphire waters. With a pleasant
climate throughout the year and activities from boating, climbing,
fishing, to exploring our historic sites, Flinders Island has much to
offer. Bush walkers will enjoy climbing
Flinders Island's 756m peak of Mount
Strzelecki.
Strahan
is a picturesque fishing village on the wild west coast of Tasmania.
Situated on Macquarie Harbour, from here you can take a boat deep up
the famous Gordon River cruise through Tasmania's World Heritage
Area.

Lake
Mungo
|
Lake Mungo is a fascinating and important archeological
site almost 1,000km west of Australia. It is one of the seventeen lakes
within the Willandra Lakes World Heritage Area.
The comfortable 4 star bush lodge with airstrip offers a unique weekend
experience. It caters only for a limited number of guests. Its
management is commited to eco-sensitive tourism.
Have an experienced guide explain the unique history of this area.
Skeletons dating back tens of thousands of years have been found here.
Vigorous scientific debate about the findings continues to this day. A
long line of sand dunes named "The Walls of China" reveal secrets of
tribal life tens of thousands of years ago. You may see ashes of fires
from that time or bones from animals that are long extinct. Due to the
constant erosion of the dunes, each new layer laid bare by the winds
reveals ancient history.
